When shipping commercial products such as shaved ice machines overseas, shipping availability and conditions can vary significantly depending on product specifications (such as voltage), safety standards (such as CE), and package size. To help ensure safe and reliable delivery, please review the important information below in advance.
PAST CASES
A customer in Hong Kong ordered two 100V domestic models (SI-150Ca). Before shipping, we explained in detail that the manufacturer does not recommend using a transformer and that the products would not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We shipped the machines after receiving the customer’s agreement.
For use at the customer’s location, we recommended a 220V overseas-spec model (SI-150C E) suited to the local power supply. Replacement blades and spoons requested by the customer were packed together, and the order was shipped in packaging suitable for international transport.
Our experience includes shipping commercial shaved ice machines (SI-150C) to Saudi Arabia, as well as handling deliveries to distant regions such as the Middle East and North America. We confirm the shipping route in advance and provide a quote to help ensure reliable delivery.

To help prevent problems with international shipping, we ask that you review and agree to the following disclaimers and important notes.
Products designed for domestic use in Japan (100V) are intended for use in Japan. Once taken overseas, they are not eligible for any after-sales support or warranty, including repairs or replacement. In regions with 220V power, a transformer would be required, but the manufacturer does not recommend this because it may cause malfunction or fire. Where possible, please consider a 220V-compatible “overseas-spec model”.
For direct overseas shipments that meet the applicable requirements, Japanese consumption tax may be treated as tax-exempt. Customs duties, local taxes, and customs clearance fees charged at the destination are the customer’s responsibility. Quotations and invoices are issued in Japanese, and payment must be made in Japanese yen. Please note this in advance.
Required safety and hygiene standards and import conditions vary by country or region. If the applicable requirements are not met, customs clearance may be denied and the shipment may be returned or otherwise affected. Required standards vary by model and destination, so please check with the relevant local authorities, health authorities, customs office, or other applicable agencies before purchase. If import is not permitted, please refer to the quotation terms regarding the handling of shipping costs and other charges.
Shaved ice machines, replacement blades, grease, and other maintenance items can be shipped overseas, but food products such as shaved ice syrups cannot be shipped overseas. Because consumable parts such as replacement blades require separate shipping when ordered later, we recommend purchasing them together with the machine.
Domestic 100V models are packed in cartons intended for domestic shipping, so long-distance international transport carries a risk of impact damage. The scope of compensation for damage during transit varies depending on the shipping conditions, so please confirm this when you receive your quotation. To reduce the risk of damage, we strongly recommend our optional JPY 10,000 (excluding tax) “Individual Packing Service (double packing)”. (Note: 220V overseas-spec models are supplied in packaging designed for international transport.)
