Voltage & After-Sales Support (No Warranty)
Japanese domestic models (100V) are designed exclusively for use in Japan. Once exported, they are strictly excluded from all after-sales support and warranties. While a transformer is required in 220V regions, the manufacturer strongly advises against it as it carries a risk of fire. We strongly recommend choosing a 220V "Overseas Model" if available.
Payment, Invoices, Taxes & Customs
Japanese consumption tax is exempt. However, customs duties, local taxes, and clearance fees may be charged upon arrival and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please also note that our official quotations and invoices are issued in "Japanese", and all payments must be settled in Japanese Yen (JPY).
CE Certification & Confiscation Risk
Machines without safety certifications like the CE mark (required in Europe) or NSF risk being confiscated or forcibly returned to Japan by customs. If import is denied, shipping fees are strictly non-refundable. We highly recommend considering "Overseas Models" that comply with CE or NSF standards to ensure safe import.
Items that cannot be shipped
While shaved ice machines and maintenance parts (blades, grease) can be shipped, food items such as syrups cannot be shipped overseas. We recommend purchasing spare blades and parts together with the machine, as separate shipments incur additional shipping fees.
